Lindzey Neely – Executive Director
Lindzey is a native of Spartanburg, graduating from E.P. Todd Elementary School, Carver Junior High School, and Spartanburg High School. She then attended The University of South Carolina and graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Secondary Education. After graduation, Lindzey completed a Master’s in Special Education at Vanderbilt University. She taught Special Education for 7 years in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lindzey is married to Hudson and they have four children: Wilson (12), Sims and Ruthi (9), and Hal (7). In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and being outdoors.
Her passion to partner with families who have children with special needs first began while she was teaching near downtown Nashville. Lindzey loved working with families to help them locate needed resources, understand their child’s educational rights, and provide support as needed.

Mark Johnsen
Mark is a brewer and the founder of RJ Rockers. He opened RJ Rockers in 1997 in an effort to help revitalize downtown Spartanburg. He and his wife, Sue, have two adult children, Lizzy and Jenny, and two grandchildren, Penny and Teddy.

Erin Dyer
Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Vanderbilt University. She has many years of teaching experience in both special education and general education classrooms. Erin is trained in Orton-Gillingham, a direct and explicit reading, writing, and spelling curriculum and approach that is often used for individuals with dyslexia. Erin and her husband, Alan, have two boys, Sam and Jack. You can find her volunteering at Cleveland Academy and Pine Street Elementary, leading Cub Scouts, or watching her boys at their sporting events and activities.

Coker Powell
Coker Powell is a proven development leader with over 20 years of experience driving organizational growth and innovation. She has led efforts raising over $2.6 billion for two critical health challenges, cancer and heart disease.
Coker is the executive vice president and chief revenue officer of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Previously, Powell spent 12 years at the American Heart Association. In 2024, she received the Pride of Wofford Award, which recognizes alumni who have brought honor to the college through their professional achievements. Powell graduated cum laude from Wofford College and holds a master’s degree in communication from Wake Forest University. Based in Spartanburg, SC, she works remotely while enjoying life with her husband, Alex, and their two young children, Sadie and Net.

Kaylee Miller
Kaylee has been teaching in the classroom for eleven years. She taught second, third, and fourth grade in both public and private schools. Kaylee currently teaches at Spartanburg Day School. She graduated from USC Upstate with a degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s Degree in Education from Anderson University and an EdS Degree in Administration and Supervision at Converse College. Kaylee finds value in being a life-long learner and working hard to meet the needs of all of students. She and her husband and have a sweet daughter named Finley, who will soon be 5 years old. Their family enjoys traveling, and spending time together with family and friends.

Junior Salters
Junior Salters graduated from Wofford College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has over 10 years of experience in sales and operations, working for companies such as Milliken & Company, Michelin North America, and Republic Services. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching sports, hiking, and spending time with his lovely wife, Tanae, and their four daughters.

Molly Jones
Molly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Davidson College and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She worked with various non-profits in Spartanburg and Charleston before stepping down to focus on her family’s needs. Molly and her husband, Josh, have three teenagers: Ben, Garrett, and Ellie.

Danielle Halliday
Case Manager
Danielle Halliday is a certified school psychologist with over 12 years experience and works as a case manager for the Roo Crew. She enjoys engaging in conversations at the school level to assist families in understanding and addressing their child’s needs. She is always ready with a smile to offer support and guidance. Danielle’s friendly demeanor and expertise make her a valuable resource to the Roo Crew and within the Spartanburg school community as a whole.

Kate Morrow
Marketing and Communications
Kate Morrow is a marketing and communications expert who has been a valuable asset to the Roo Crew. Her skills have greatly benefited our organization and we are thankful for her dedication to supporting families in Spartanburg County with special needs children. Kate has a beautiful son who has autism and cerebral palsy and she has been a strong advocate for him! Kate’s passion for helping others shines through in her work and we are grateful to have her on our team.
